YUKON FORGE SLEDGEHAMMER

Our Yukon Forge (YF) Sledge Hammers are the symbol of teamwork and craftsmanship.    The goal was to make a world-class sledgehammer that you will be proud to ​have as a staple in your shop. 

The whole idea was that this sledgehammer would be made in-house by farriers for farriers and blacksmiths.  We use 4140, and the entire process is in-house from the first cut to the final fit-up.  They are 8.5 lbs approximately with a hickory handle carved by hand in-house.  We weigh every one with the handle and mark the sledge with its true weight. Right now, they come in the 8.5lb range; each one varies a couple of ounces depending on the handle. 

There is a lot of pride and love in each one of our sledgehammers.  Each sledgehammer comes with the option for custom engraving.  Just add in the notes what you would like it to say or attach a black-and-white drawing of what you would like on the hammer.
