We know your finished work is your calling card, and we wanted a tool that helps you achieve a strong, solid finish and makes the job easier for the farrier. This is a two-year design and development for the industry's best nail gouge.  We pulled out all the stops to make this the highest-quality, easiest nail gouge out there. 

 

Our push Gouges are made of 440C stainless steel with a V-bit construction and a smooth, rounded, relieved backside, allowing easy removal of a nail with a gouge right under the nail.  We added a quick-change construction so the farrier can pull the pin and swivel a fresh blade to the working end, while the used end can be stored within the body of the tool. 

 

The body is made of 6160 aluminum, precision-machined and then anodized black for a corrosion-resistant finish. The body has a smooth, ergonomic design that fits comfortably in your hands, giving you maximum leverage to smoothly gouge under the nail.  This, combined with the V bit, makes for a unique tool to help the farrier with their everyday work.
