We forge our tongs individually from 4140 tool steel alloy.  
Tongs come in the following sizes:  1/4". 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8".  Specialty tongs and other sizes available upon request.

Anvil Tongs
Throw away your vise.  If you use a hot rasp--either in competition or on the job daily--you will love our anvil tongs.  We forge all of the quality of our horseshoeing tongs into our anvil tongs to bring you a tool that grips as well as your vise without the bulk and hassle.  We use the same 4140 tool steel alloy found in our shoeing tongs for our anvil tongs, but scale them up a bit into a beefier model to give them strength, durability and gripping power.  the tapered shank of our anvil tongs will fit most hardy hole sizes commonly found in today's shoeing and competition anvils.  The tongs themselves are sized to fit a wide variety of stock thicknesses.
